The Role
ToddlerTunez are recruiting a Sales Director to join their team. As a fast-growing startup, ToddlerTunez need an excellent Sales Director, with senior experience in Sales on Commission who is interested in developing ToddlerTunez’ sales strategy and customer base. The successful candidate will build and manage a Sales Team on Commission. The role is designed to be flexible following the development of the startup with a flexible part-time arrangement. The role will allow flexibility of working location and hours for most of the working week. Given the nature of the industry, we encourage parents who require a flexible job to apply. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and developing a Sales Strategy for ToddlerTunez, building and managing a Sales Team on Commission. The post holder will be responsible for planning fair and event visits and for recruiting, training and line managing a young and competitive sales team. 
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Relationship building with potential partner companies to drive sales 
  • Build and maintain strong and long lasting customer relationships 
  • Effectively communicate ToddlerTunez’ value propositions through proposals and presentations 

Person Specification
  • A passion for the arts, education and ToddlerTunez’ mission 
  • Sales driven personality acting as true brand ambassador 
  • Experience leading a Sales team on commission
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people from all backgrounds and ages with confidence, using tact and diplomacy
  • Excellent phone manner and written communications skills 
  • Experience cultivating new relationships 
  • Strong leadership and time-management skills working independently 
  • Experience working in a Sales role at Senior Management level 
  • Sales career in the education or creative industry 
  • Interest in the Start-Up and Entrepreneurship environment 
  • Network of parents with young children 
  • Additional language(s) 

Job Title: Sales Director
Line Managers: ToddlerTunez’ Company Directors
Start date: March 2020 or as early as possible
Contract Type: Flexible, part-time.
Probation period: 3 months with 4 weeks notice period for both parties. Afterwards, notice period will be of six weeks.
Salary: Competitive dependant on experience. Potential arrangements include free childcare services given the nature of the business and/or equity shares of the startup company.
