Job Description & Person Specification:

This summer, Greenbelt will be hosting our 47th festival of artistry, activism and belief. We’ll be bringing our own hopeful revolution back to the stunning grounds of Boughton House, across 24 stages, fields, galleries, installations and outdoor performances, for a festival that’s radically inclusive, open- minded, and generous in spirit. And we’re looking for someone to help us tell that story.

We’re very aware that we are operating in a tough, crowded marketplace, and against a challenging economic backdrop. But we think our secret weapon is that there’s genuinely, no other festival quite like ours. Your job would be to help us show why Greenbelt is somewhere to believe in for thousands of people, and help us explain why and how we’re a distinctive and important event in a busy and noisy world.

We want to hire a dynamic and multi-skilled Digital Comms Officer to join our team and help us ensure that both the annual festival itself but also the idea of Greenbelt (our values, our curation, and the sorts of spaces we make) are as widely recognised and engaged with as possible.

If you’re successful, you’ll work closely with the Creative Director (and Greenbelt’s freelance copywriter), and use your digital communications skills to support the delivery of Greenbelt’s vision and ambition – ensuring our values and content are effectively and creatively shared as widely as possible, with maximum impact.
