Job Description & Person Specification:

We are looking for an Executive Producer to grow with us.

 Who are we?

AΦE is a touring company that creates performances not bound by the stage. Inspired by a world transformed by new technologies, artistic directors Aoi Nakamura and Esteban Fourmi choreograph bold and unusual audience journeys.

Our audiences are active participants within visually captivating environments. Based in Ashford, Kent, we started collaborating in 2013, and formally incorporated the company in 2016 in order to produce our first funded production WHIST. WHIST has allowed us to build a reputation and some financial stability in the past two years.

We now have support from many individuals and organisations in the UK and internationally, including Arts Council England.

We will continue to build on these types of support to bring the company to the next phase.

Our ambitions are big, with multiple projects planned in 2019 and 2020.

We hope you could think big and work closely with us to continue to build the company.

What to expect?

This is a freelance fixed term contract to start off with, but it is in view of building a long-term relationship where you could take on the role of building the company (this includes fundraising for further projects and your own fees).

We have saved a very small core operations budget, and are fundraising for project funding for March/April onwards.

We expect to pay a daily fee of 130-200 (experience dependent) to start with from our core budget, and then a fixed fee when we receive the next grant.

How to apply:

Please send hello@aoiesteban.com your latest CV or LinkedIn profile link, so we know what your experiences lies, a short statement of where you would like to go next and how our work would fit into your career trajectory.

We will then invite you for a conversation with our outgoing producer and ourselves.

As this is a long-term collaboration we are keen to find a suitable match, applications will be accepted until role is filled.
