Job Description & Person Specification:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team at a prestigious and dynamic film school. The Film Festivals Coordinator plays an important role in promoting the School internationally and maximising exposure for our student/graduate films, by ensuring optimal Film Festival submissions. 

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Library and Film Festivals Manager to plan and deliver LFS’ Film Festival strategy, in line with the Schools’ ambitious and exciting objectives. 

This post will work alongside colleagues to ensure that the brand, reputation and identity of LFS is enhanced across Film Festival networks, and processes are in place to support this activity. 

You will enjoy working in a fast-paced and creative environment, utilising your knowledge of national and international film festivals, professional bodies and associations to provide advice and professional administrative support to internal and external stakeholders. 
You have experience of submitting appropriate films to festivals, competitions and events. 
As a confident communicator you will relish the challenge of building strong film festival, student and graduate relationships and providing excellent customer service. 
You will have proven organisational skills and experience of effective database and file management. 
You will be comfortable working collaboratively, and are excited by the prospect of being an ambassador for LFS at Film Festivals and internal and external events
