Job Description & Person Specification:

Battersea Arts Centre is looking for a new Artistic Director & CEO to start in May 2019. The new Artistic Director & CEO will lead the organisation to achieve its core purpose – to inspire people to take creative risks to shape the future – at a pivotal time in its history after a 12 year project to open up Battersea Arts Centre’s building.

BAC is a learning organisation, so we want a great leader and facilitator who will help to create the environment in which everyone can thrive and grow.

The Artistic Director & CEO role will be one in which the candidate will develop, so we are not expecting the finished article on day one. We are looking for a candidate who will provide inspirational artistic and operational leadership, and we are hoping to receive applications from people with a range of different leadership styles and experience.

So if you have a commitment to Battersea Arts Centre’s purpose, a compelling vision for Battersea Arts Centre’s future on a local, national and international level, and you think you possess the right leadership and collaboration qualities, we’d love for you to apply.
