Job Description & Person Specification:

Are you a talented learning and development professional with a passion for cultural change?

Across Science Museum Group (SMG), we're in the business of Inspiring Futures. We couldn't do it without our talented and dedicated colleagues, and so the People and Culture team exist to create a diverse workforce of valued and empowered individuals that are passionate and proud to work here.

As part of this commitment, we are looking for a People Development Partner to join us in a permanent role, based from one of our National Museums in York, Manchester, Bradford or London (with travel between all sites).

In this role, you will strategically deliver SMGs investment in a new Talent Strategy. You will be challenged to ‘Think Big’ in the delivery of a range of organisational, team and individual learning solutions focussed on thought leadership, management development and championing our ‘Rising Star’ initiative, influencing senior stakeholders with positive culture change across the Group.

Joining us, you will have a diverse knowledge base of current learning trends and an expertise in management, leadership and learning theory. You’ll be able to put this into practice and conduct learning diagnostics, analysing findings to develop and deliver appropriate training and development workshops.

You will also have the ability to think strategically and advocate for our people, influencing stakeholders and senior managers to embrace new ways of working. You will be offered excellent benefits, including 25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays, flexibility with work (such as agile working and working from home) BUPA medical and dental care, a contributory company pension scheme, an interest free loan offer and numerous staff discounts whilst developing your career in a world class museum group.
