Permanent | Full-time 34.5 hours per week

The Royal Academy of Dance is an organisation dedicated to advancing standards of dance education and teaching, and to promoting and investing in the development of dance worldwide.

RAD Enterprises Ltd is a small, multi-faceted company with a dynamic retail outlet at the RADís premises in Battersea, London, and an established online and mail order business which we are looking to grow.

A superb opportunity has arisen in the form of a Retail Manager within Royal Academy of Dance Enterprises (RADE).

Reporting to the Head of Trading and working closely with the retail and mail order team, key functional departments and international offices, you will be responsible for leading the operations of RADE.

The role has a particular focus on the management of the retail and mail order team, as well as the day-to-day running of the retail outlet and e-commence sales.

You will also be responsible for raising the profile of RAD products for our online business, including marketing materials and social media activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and an experienced individual with substantial retail management experience within a store and e-commence capacity, ideally gained from working in a retail environment in the charitable, arts or education sector.

Sound interpersonal and customer service skills, together with all round first class communication skills in English will be needed as you will write online copy and work with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Experience of people management including the training and support of colleagues and experience of recruitment and selection processes are also required. Flexibility with regard to working hours is necessary as the role includes the need to work occasional evenings and weekends as per the needs of the business.
