Job Description & Person Specification:

Victoria Rowsell Artist Management, a boutique artist management agency representing a carefully selected list of instrumentalists and conductors is looking to appoint a full-time Administrator / Assistant to support the Managing Director and two Artist Managers with administrative duties.

The role is centred on carrying out specific aspects of servicing the artistsí engagements, and requires a high level of tact, discretion and empathy. It is an ideal position for a reliable, hard-working individual who is independent, self-motivated and possesses a capacity to build strong relationships while working as part of a small, tight-knit team.

The right candidate must be passionate about and have a very good knowledge of classical music as well as a keen interest in developing administrative and business skills.

She/he will ideally have a degree in music and/or business, and will be highly organized and efficient, able to prioritise and meet strict deadlines as well as possessing excellent planning and administrative skills.

Polished communication skills, a very high standard of spoken and written English and attention to detail are essential.

Fluency in additional languages is a considerable advantage.

This position offers real scope for personal development for someone enthusiastic about learning and keen to further their career in artist management.
