Job Description & Person Specification:

Arts Coordinator

Tandridge Trust is looking for someone to join their specialist Culture team. This person will support the planning, delivery and success of activity across all art forms particularly Theatre exchange, our theatre company.

The main responsibilities of this role include communicating to our customers, clients, local community and further afield about our work. You will prepare text and approaches for press, printed publications, emails, websites and social networking, so we looking for someone who is creative and punchy with words and confident at networking.

A key responsibility is coordinating our theatre and arts bookings in schools and community settings, the successful candidate will have excellent organisation skills, maintaining sales and bookings through efficient administration. We are looking for someone who works well in a team, enjoys sharing ideas and creating with others.

They should be genuinely committed and passionate about developing creative opportunities for communities.

This role is for a minimum of 16 and up to 24 hours a week including occasional weekends and evenings, please state your preferred number of working hours in your application.

The role is mostly based in Oxted but will include some county –wide travel. Drivers are desirable, please state in application.

Please note the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Salary offer circa £19,500 pro rata.
