Job Description & Person Specification:

We’re looking to appoint an experienced PR professional to be the Public Relations and Campaigns Manager at Czech Centre London.

Location: Czech Centre / Czech Embassy Central London (Kensington), closest tube Notting Hill Gate 

Industry: Cultural events, arts, film, visual arts, performance art, cultural diplomacy, cultural policy

Job level: Management Hours of Work: Part Time (24 hours a week) 10am to 6pm (open to discussion, flexible hours and occasional home office possible)

Expectation that some evening and weekend work will be required to attend events as the business requires.

Salary:  £19 000 per annum + employee benefits (state pension, childcare voucher scheme, option to join yoga classes, free entry to CC and Czech Embassy events)

Contract: One year with possibility to extend 

Responsibilities:  

PR, Communications, Digital Marketing, Media, Campaigns, Press Conferences, Social Media

The successful applicant will:

gain unique access to London´s arts and cultural diplomacy scene have a rare opportunity to learn about contemporary Czech art, culture and science engage with artists, curators, and other creative professionals in various fields develop PR campaigns for selected projects (Made in Prague Festival, Design Week, Czech Showcase @ Fringe, etc.) be responsible for increasing the visibility of the organisation itself devise new strategies to promote the institution vis a vis general public and also professional partners oversee day to day business of social media and other forms of on-line presence. work closely with the Czech Centre Director  on a PR campaign promoting projects related to Czech Republic 100 (centennial anniversary taking place in 2018) help to promote the new Czech Centre Gallery and its programme
