Job Description & Person Specification:

Location   Office in central Manchester with travel across Greater Manchester. One visit to London early in 2018

Contract  Freelance over 20 months

Salary  £150 per day

Hours  Approximately 90 days between January 2018 and August 2019

Closing Date  5pm, 24 October 2017 (invitations to interview will be sent out on the 25 October 2017)

Interview Date  1 or 2 November 2017

Initial Training  5 to 9 February 2018



The Irene Taylor Trust and TiPP are two of the most well established and well respected organisations in the sector. They work from a belief in the power of the arts to transform lives, breaking down barriers and helping people who have found themselves on the fringes of society to become celebrated and valued members of the community.

For the first time, they are coming together, combining nearly sixty years of knowledge, skills and experience to bring ITT’s flagship programme, Making Tracks, to the Northwest. Making Tracks is a music programme which targets young people aged 16 to 25 who are not in education, training or employment (NEET). 

The Personal Development Co-ordinator is responsible for the pastoral care of participants. They will be required to form trusting relationships with participants, support them through the course of the project and assist them in sourcing suitable progression routes and opportunities.

The post will also support the management team with the co-ordination, administration and evaluation of the programme.
