Job Description & Person Specification:

CONFERENCE, BANQUETING AND EVENTS SALES MANAGER

SALARY: 24000 P.A. PLUS COMMISSION ON COMPLETION OF PROBATIONARY PERIOD

HOURS PER WEEK Basic 37.5 42 hours per week.

The post holder will be required to occasionally work evenings and weekends for special events but will earn TOIL in return. The National Justice Museum in Nottingham is an award winning premier Museum and visitor attraction.

We are seeking to appoint an energetic and personable candidate for the role of Conference, Banqueting and Events Sales Manager

The role has sole responsibility for selling the attractions conference, banqueting, room hire, special events, and after dark events for the Museum and the City of Caves.

The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, passionate and committed and be able to work on their own initiative to increase revenue and achieve sales targets via direct sales, marketing and promotion.

As well as a proven track record in delivering sales targets the role holder will have experience of developing effective relationships, with highly developed oral and written communication skills.
