Symphonova Orchestra is opening a freelance marketing and sales role for a fixed period of nine months.

We are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven marketing and sales Professional experienced in classical music concert bookings to take a key role in promoting Symphonova touring programme.

Symphonova is unlike any other orchestra. Twelve musicians supported by cutting-edge digital technologies and led by internationally acclaimed conductor and inventor Shelley Katz create the richness and power of a full symphonic experience.

Supported by a small and passionate management team, Symphonova consists of multiple proprietary inventions related to sound quality and gestural control to create the marvel of the orchestral experience.

With the founding of Symphonova Ltd. Symphonova moved from laboratory to limelight and has been performing in the UK to audience amazement and acclaim.

The nine-month contract is for a fixed period between October 2017 and June 2018.

Depending on performance, a long-term engagement may be envisaged.

Working closely with the Symphonova Managing Director, you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of marketing and sales strategies that will develop audiences and maximise sales throughout the country and in Europe.

Building on Symphonova’s unique and innovative features, you will help develop Symphonova’s branding, build effective relationships with concert promoters and festivals, and drive the growth and diversification of Symphonova touring programme.

All applicants must be skilled communicators, able to work independently and have relevant experience.

The work can be undertaken from any location, but the successful applicant will be expected to spend a minimum of two days’ work per week on the job, of which at least one day per fortnight at an office in north London.

Our ideal candidate will meet the following core criteria:

Excellent communicator, experienced in communication and networking with concert promoters and festivals

Experienced in selling concerts, ideally working with orchestras

Experienced in building audiences Well-organised and able to work independently Information on how to apply available here.
