Job Description & Person Specification:

We are looking for Volunteer Co-ordinators for the Arts, Venues and Events team.

The role will involve identifying, recruiting and co-ordinating large numbers of volunteers for events including Light Night Leeds, Leeds International Film Festival and Leeds Young Film Festival. 

You will be expected to develop a volunteer recruitment strategy, liaise with universities, colleges and arts organisations to recruit volunteers, create and schedule volunteer rotas, organise and run volunteer training sessions, ensure a high quality volunteer offer and create a positive volunteer experience.

This is a casual role that will include working on events as and when required. We require one volunteer co-ordinator per event. 

Events that currently need a Volunteer Co-ordinator include Light Night Leeds (5thand 6thOctober, with part-time hours from July to September, full time beginning of October), Leeds International Film Festival (1st– 16thNovember, part-time September and October, full time November) and Leeds Young Film Festival (Easter 2018, part time hours in March/April).
