Job Description & Person Specification:

We have an opening for a part-time ceramic technician.

This is your chance to join an exciting up-and-coming business in a role with opportunities for progression.

The right candidate will have experience or a background in ceramics and will have a passion for pottery! You will work with our tutors to support our students, and studio organisation and preparation will be a key part of your role. Other responsibilities will include kiln management, looking after student welfare and general housekeeping.

The Ceramic Studio is a truly beautiful place to work - we are based amongst orchards in Brenchley, near Tunbridge Wells, and the studio is in a bright and spacious converted barn.

We are a small and very hands-on team who look out for each other and strive to deliver the best possible service and experience for our students. We have 15 new wheels and the studio is very well equipped.

If you are interested in this role, please email your CV and a covering letter to info@theceramicstudio.co.uk using ‘Technician Application’ in the subject line.
